ソニー・コンピュータエンタテインメントジャパンアジアは、PS3用ソフト「グランツーリスモ6」について、タブレット端末でコースデータを作成する無料アプリ「GT6トラックパスエディター」の配信を、App StoreならびにGoogle Playにて本日9月30日より開始した。
「GT6トラックパスエディター」では、Android（4.1以降）あるいはiOS（7.0以降）のタブレット端末で専用アプリを使って作成したコースデータを「グランツーリスモ6」に転送・保存し、走行することができる。なお、「GT6トラックパスエディター」では4つのテーマから選んでコースを作成し、フリーラン、アーケードモード、コミュニティー、そしてオープンロビーで利用可能だ。

また、「グランツーリスモ6」側でコースデータを読み込み、保存する「トラックパスインポーター」がアップデート1.21の公開後にMy Homeに追加される。
