サイバーフロントは、2013年6月27日に発売を予定しているPS3/Xbox 360/PC用ソフト「スナイパー ゴーストウォリアー2」において、スポッター（観測手）の活躍を紹介する日本語PVを公開した。
本PVでは、主人公のスナイパーと共に任務を遂行するスポッターの活躍の模様を紹介しているぞ。

スポッターとのツーマンセル
スナイパーの活躍には、スポッターの存在が不可欠。周囲の状況を把握し、ターゲットの情報を伝達してくれる。現実のスナイパー同様、ゲームでもツーマンセルでの行動が基本となる。
背中を預けられる“相棒”
2人同時の狙撃や、ステルスキルで目標を仕留める場面なども登場。互いの連携が重要となる。信頼しあい、背中を預けて危険な任務に臨む、まさに“相棒”と呼べる存在だ。
ゲームに登場するスポッターを紹介
主人公が現在組んでいるスポッターは、CIA特別テロ班の「ディアス」。しかし過去に共に任務を遂行していたスポッターも存在する。そして主人公と元相棒の「カール・マドックス」を襲った悲劇が、物語に深く関わることに……。
