サイバーフロントは、PS3/Xbox 360/PC用ソフト「スナイパー ゴーストウォリアー2」の発売日が6月27日に決定したことを明らかにするとともに、任務に立ち向かうスナイパーの姿を描いた新トレイラーを公開した。
「スナイパー ゴーストウォリアー2」は、狙撃に特化したゲーム性が話題を呼び、全世界で大ヒットしたFPS「スナイパー ゴーストウォリアー」の続編タイトル。本作で新たに導入されたゲームエンジン「CryEngine3」により、グラフィックやAIなどさまざまな要素がよりリアルになっており、敵地に潜み、一撃必殺でターゲットを仕留めなければならない緊張感を体感できるスナイピングFPSだ。

発売日決定に合わせ、たとえどんな敵であろうとも、一撃必殺で任務を遂行する、精鋭と呼ばれるスナイパーの姿を重厚に描いたトレイラームービーが公開された。静かに語られるナレーションからは、主人公アンダーソンの任務に対するストイックな姿勢がうかがえるぞ。
