Microsoftは、Xbox Series X|S/PC用ソフト「Microsoft Flight Simulator」において、追加コンテンツ「World Update VIII: Spain, Portugal, Andorra ＆ Gibraltar」の無料配信を開始した。
「World Update VIII」では、スペイン、ポルトガル、アンドラ、ジブラルタルの4地域の標高データ、写真測量、航空画像などが取り入れられ、より高解像度のフライト体験が楽しめるように地形や建造物の描写が大幅修正されている。また本アップデートには、手作業で再現された4つの空港、99箇所の注目地点（PoI/Points of Interest）、4つのブッシュトリップ、4つの新しいディスカバリーフライト、5つの新しい着陸チャレンジが含まれているとのこと。
