インターグローは、PS4用ソフト「The Surge」の発売日を、2017年11月30日と発表した。
「The Surge」は、フランスの大手パブリッシャー・Focus Home Interactiveとハードコアアクション作品で有名なドイツのスタジオ・Deck 13 Interactiveが開発する新作アクションRPGだ。
バイオテクノロジーが発達した21世紀末が舞台の近未来サイエンス・フィクションが、PS4 Proに対応した最高級のグラフィックスで描かれる。敵の部位を剥ぎ取り、インプラント（機械外骨格）のパーツを強化するなど、ハードコアゲーム好きに向けて作られた、やり込み度の高い作品だ。
