「フライデー・ザ・13th：ザ・ゲーム」は、伝説的殺人鬼であるジェイソン・ボーヒーズと7人のキャンプ場の監視員（カウンセラー）に分かれて最大8人で繰り広げられる生き残りをかけたオンラインマルチプレイヤーゲームだ。
ジェイソンになったプレイヤーの目的は7人のカウンセラーが脱出または制限時間内に全員倒すことで、7人のキャンプ場の監視員（カウンセラー）の目的は、キャンプ場から脱出するか、20分間生き残ること。ジェイソンとカウンセラーの特性を把握し、13日の金曜日を生き抜こう。
