FIA フォーミュラ1 ワールドチャンピオンシップの公式ライセンスゲームである「F1 2017」は、シリーズ史上最もリアルにF1の世界を体感することができる、究極の進化を遂げたF1ゲームだ。
新しいマシンのデザインが導入され、速度もより速いスピードがでるマシンへと変貌を遂げた。F1ではお馴染みのスター選手やサーキットはもちろん、各チームのマシンの設定から細かなルールまで綿密に再現されており、公式ゲームならではの本物のF1の世界を体験することが可能だ。
また、前作で好評を博した「キャリアモード」を引き続き搭載されるほか、今作では「F1 2013」で実装されていた、クラシックカーを運転することができる「クラシックモード」も搭載。キャリアモードとクラシックモードが融合してプレイできるのはシリーズ初となる。
