2Kは、2018年10月9日に発売を予定しているPS4/Xbox One/PC用ソフト「WWE 2K19」について、ゲームモード「2K Showcase」の詳細を公開した。
2K SHOWCASEが「WWE 2K19」で復活！描かれるのはダニエル・ブライアンのストーリー
復活したゲームモードではダニエル・ブライアン自身の言葉と迫力満点のムービーによって、スポーツエンターテイメントの世界に飛び込んで間もない頃の苦闘、早すぎた引退、そしてWrestleMania 34での現役復帰と勝利などが語られます。
その中でプレイヤーは、インゲーム・コンテンツをアンロックするため、ダニエル・ブライアンのキャリアの中で重要な意味を持つ試合を追体験し、実際の“歴史”とまったく同じ目標の達成を目指すことになります。
