2Kは、2018年10月9日に発売を予定しているPS4/Xbox One/PC用ソフト「WWE 2K19」について、新機能「Towers」の詳細を公開した。
新モードでは、WWEスーパースターかMyPLAYERを選び、対戦相手のWWEスーパースターと連戦を行う。各Towerには、それぞれ独自のテーマとWWEスーパースターのロスターが設定されており、さまざまな勝利条件や特殊条件のあるバラエティ豊かなマッチを戦い抜いていくことになる。
各Towerでは、マッチによってプレイヤーや対戦相手にバフがかかり、より難易度の高いプレイが楽しめる。最初からフィニッシャーを使えたり、体力ゲージが赤い状態でイベントが始まったりするなど、さまざまな特殊条件があるようだ。
