「WWE 2K22」は、新たなゲームエンジンで進化したグラフィックや演出が、より直感的になった操作感で楽しめるプロレスゲーム。シリーズ初となる「MyFACTION」モードでは、WWEスーパースターやレジェンドを集め、管理、強化していくことで究極の4人組ユニットを育成していく。nWoにも負けない自分だけのユニットを育て上げよう。
また、「MyRISE」モードでは男女それぞれに固有のストーリーが用意され、これまで以上にドラマチックに描かれるルーキーからWWEスーパスターに至るまでの物語が体験可能だ。
